In the olden days, if you wanted to join the "Woodstock Gang" (whatever that was...) you had to walk over the arches of the Fairfield Bridge...I don't think you were allowed to ride over it though - that would have been cheating...
. “No pleasure is worth giving up for two more years in a rest home.” Kingsley Amis
A bit different now days, and I would think walking over there would be a piece of piss.
But to ride your bike over it? You may be good enough to do it, but I can foresee a couple of outcomes
If you make it, it will still get general attention by the public, Police will be there by the time you get to the other end, if not they'll track you down, and the stunt has been so talked about that every one knows it will be you - it wont take them long to find you. Some people will take pleasure in dropping you in it.
or you come off (lest likely outcome), you stand a very high chance of you or your bike landing on someone and injuring them - then what
It's not like you'll be able to stop the traffic while you do your stunt
But hey - what do I know, terminal did it on BMX (I find that hard to believe actually) so it must be cool!!!

can't be too hard to walk over it.

I thought the pic was the Fairfield bridge, apparently it's from the UK
SWEET $500 to get the bike rideable so i'm picking it up 2morw and since the compression appears to be low in one of the cylinders I need to take it for a good ride to see if it blows out and comes right...apart from all the talk of carvers stunt...is there a ride this weekend coz the weather is going to be good for it...just trying to find out whats organised
You can ride a motorcycle any time of the month
Once again the laxed out group are looking at this weekend in a laxed out manner. Trina and I may go for a pootle Sunday but as I have a brand new front tyre if any rain looks possible I will take the learned advice from the guys at Boyds and not ride. Possible that we will leave the Hotel about 11.00ish and head over to Te Aroha for coffee and some lunch and back via Matamata (it probably will rain then!!)
I may be wrong Mr Flux but the Honda rides are usually a bit of a speedfest with some very very good riders so it may or may not be the thing you are looking for???? Correct me if I am wrong Smoky or Warr!!

Life would be so much easier if you addressed questions with a simple answer.
I'm just looking for Sundays riders since my bike is ok but still needs stuff, working all saturday and not really keen on fast rides with only a 250...I'll hang round the hotel on Sunday and take it from there![]()
