ASAP! I've got a few rides by myself first to get used to and I'll be sweet for a ride. How does next weekend sound?

Is that 'round the lake ride still gonna happen?

A few of us are going to Taupo tomorrow. Some of us are two up so it will be a slower ride on my part. If you have your insurance sorted come along. Leave Bay view BP 9am.

Tempting, but I'm gonna go for a blat with my dad and get used to the bike.

A few of us are meeting up with a KB group comin up from Palmy( I think they are still comin) on friday am some time. Will post up here with some more news in the next few days

Always a nice jaunt, and you dont have to stick with the oldies at a sedate pace.

Its the same as you would remember it, the State has taken over the Road now so should see it sealed all the way in about 2030 HaHaHa

Last years Cold Kiwi was the last time I've been over the Annie, road works on the other side, there was 15k of gravel this side, 30k of gravel the other side, less what has been sealed in the last year, but is usually pretty sweet apart from ruts. It's little more than 2 hours non stop to to the Oasis.

A bit cooler at the Taupo end but a great day.
