Sort of agree, but kids do silly things (like jump off or pull the steering) and a kids head, with no helmet, on concrete can be like dropping an egg.

A good place to put this is in, Ask seller a question.... where he can see it, you may get a reply.

Nah - what happened to adventure and fun in life and falling out of trees. Too much bubble wrap happening.

How many of us have never taken our kids on the bike or sat them on it, or done 20 metres or so with them - I have.

If he's on a road, then he's a dumb idiot, if a driveway, then hey, bit different. I had lawn I did it on

    I agree with the OP...

I know a guy, from a standing start went to pull a wheelie in front of a crowd, dropped the bike at all of 5km/hr and banged his head on the ground (no helmet).... His pregnant wife watching and his little ones... Now, he has to be fed and wears nappies! Don't do it people!!

we use to do the same thing when we were that age... dad took us round the back yard up the drive turn round up the steps, turn round down the steps... I got a few bumps and scraps and war wounds but they were from jumping out of trees, and playing bullrush and junglegym tag... one may have been from falling off my older brothers push bike that I couldn't reach the peddles for and tried to ride the bike... oh one may have been I fell off the motorbike... not sure

+1. Would be nice if they had a push bike helmet on or something.

Ah yeah its easy to think it won't hurt, but someone fairly close to us lept on his bike and went to take it out the driveway and straight back in again - a 30 second excursion, and mother yells "put yer fucken helmet on!" but he doesn't, and now hes a vegetable.

It's fortunate for him that he doesn't have a brain any more, as he doesn't have to face the stupidity of his actions, or the worthlessness of his fucked life, but everyone else around him does.

It's not worth it. Don't do it. Put your helmet on.

yep, we used to do the same. i remember my brother and i hanging on the front gate waiting for dad to come home from work. then i would sit on the tank and brother on the back and we would ride around our "massive" back yard. great fun, and one of my fondest memories. yes, brother did burn his leg on the exhaust once, but was all part of living back then. we wouldnt wear helmets when going around the yard, but we had been taught to not try and control the bike in any way. theres a photo of me at 2 years old sitting on the tank wearing one of dads helmets that was way too big. i dont think they made kid sized helmets back then.

It "incites" you? To do what, exactly?

Kiwi Biker isn't snapt.co.nz. If the ATGATT loonies want their own web site, they should go and start one.

KB is what it's members (plural!) make it. It's not your call on what gets posted here. Who are you to state what gets posted and what does not?

Perhaps if the ATGATT "loonies" are not permitted, then maybe not the grammar police?
