If you can find a third person, we could get the suspension sorted on your bike. And might as well do mine at the same time
Whats this about suspension? What sort of third person do we need to get it done?

Yeah i had a ball catchin up to the other 2 guys pretty quickly, sorry about leaving you behind lol. You guys are pussies it was no where near cold on the way back (i admit my grips were on 60% though) but the legs were fine.

To get the suspension set up all you really need to do, without spending any money, is to set the Sag. It's a three person job ya see. http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/ho...tup/index.html

And numerous other sites will explain it as well. Well that's about all I know about setting up suspension for you weight.

Bit more to it than that. Setting sag is just the starting point.
G4E is good with that sort of thing. As is Wasp27. Maybe we could organise a suspension night at ours and get it done? The only tool I haven't got is a rear shock c-hook.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Probably a bit slow for schado and MSTRS, but i enjoyed the ride. I was really starting to get into it towards the end.

Cheers for the ride guys, hope I wasnt to slow for ya.
Sounds like my type of riding group. There might be an opportunity to set up a slow riders group again. Most of our former slower riders have jumped to the fast group… aye G The goat track is one of the very best roads in our part of the world. Nice to hear you had a good ride. What time did you come back? I was moving the cows around 5ish but didn’t see your bikes………

Morepower must be sulking, as he never returned our text messages !!!

Hope you boys enjoyed the ride to Wairoa too. What a day for riding
That’s a normal time for bikes. See you can stick to the speed limit when you want to. It is 120km to Taupo so if you do it in 1 hour 10 you are averaging around 100kmh. Well done you two.

Maybe the boat Dave is on is out of Cell coverage.........

I've got a bit more reading to do then. I was gonna ask a while ago if anyone in Napier could help with suspension.

That would rock if you could though. Would love to get the bike set up a bit more for me.

    Labour Weekend

It's official!!! I'm definitely coming down for the long weekend. Riding down Friday, heading back on Monday. Do you think there could be a nice slow ride for me at some stage during that time? Maybe a couple of drinks and a chinwag? God knows I need the break...been working way too hard recently.

What are ya talking about. That bike felt perfect for my weight. And you would probably only be about 5-10kgs lighter than me at the most lol.

Sounds likes we may have a suspension night on our hands sometime. Maybe a few brews too.
