I was gunna tell the sprimbops coach that Hamiltron didn't used to be boring - but then a whole lot of expat yarpies arrived and that was that....it was fucked.

But I thought I better not in case he thought it was a racist statement...

    Two good things about Hamilton.

    Quasimoto is based there.
The Waipa Delta is a great way to spend an evening. Nice food too.

Your dreaming if you think anyone is going to come to the defence of Wanganui, Its reputation is well deserved.

Hell, If it wasn't for the prison then even the gangs wouldn't live here.(though it also maybe the lack of jobs that keeps them here)

In my engineering workshop I display a big sign "I LONG FOR BOREDOM"
It is said to be good for your health to get bored. I cant ever remember being bored, close to it in some meetings.

I retired to Hamilton from Paihia in the Bay Of Islands and it was the best move I have ever made. It is important to remember that people are more important than places. You don't get bored where you have good company. Since coming to Hamilton I have made very many friends and hundreds of acquaintances.

One of my occupations in the Bay of Islands was as a locksmith. People would shift there and be enraptured by its beauty and recreational facilities. I would be called to change their locks and thus got to know them. Over half of these people shifted back to where they had come from to their friends and family.

If you friends an family are in Hamilton then that is the place to be if they are in Wanganui then there you should be and you wont get bored.

Dunno. It was nice when I was on it for an evening trip with work, a while back. WTF would Auckland want with it??

Only real downside about hamilton is the lack of a beach (rags is 20 mins away) and the extremely boring 40 minute ride to get to the coro loop.

A place is what you make it, hamiltons got almost everything and everything else is fairly close.

It is boring if you have no transport, no money and no ambition.. but then its not hamilton being boring then is it???
