Top idea! But first we'd better separate him from his yellow rubber duck....

Not sure we are going to make it now , the bike has low to no oil pressure on idle, I need to borrow a gauge to ensure its not just the switch but the sight glass is all cloudy, and for having just had an oil change this is not a good look.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

My old ducati used to sometimes suck water down the crankcase breather , if I got to keen with the hose when washing it and do a similar thing . Can ya see the oil level? When the last time filter was done?

I'm hoping my pack rack arrives fri morning, ordered it last week , after some ringing today , I find it was sent.......but to the wrong place , they not actually sure where . Promised another one ova-nite to chch

The last time the oil and filter was done was this afternoon. 75 kms later and its a mess , however I suspect the oil is possibly ok, the oil pump maybe the issue, and what is annoying me is I used to own a gauge and fittings but they disappeared from my tool box.

Sorry to hear that man. Looks like I'll be going down on Friday alone then.

Unless.... Someone else is heading down or though Christchurch tomorrow around midday (Im flexible about the time) and doesnt mind having someone to ride with.

Flick me a txt (027 2547159) or a PM and I'll check back here around 10am.

    Cheers guys.

Have a great ride & rally folks. Gutted I can't make it. There've been a couple of bikes heading past home already
Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!

Johnny Memonic's engine is watercooled so what he's worried about is a leak of coolant into the oil. The indications are not good........

You don't worry me you silly Canterbury types with all your jocular promising dire things behaviour. I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!
