Kerry is on this place. Cant remember his name, not that it matters since it would seem he'd rather remain anonymous.

An interesting read & pertinent thread to many in the road racing game, great to hear the lap times are on the hot side too!

My experience of the Svelte Swedish product (Ohlins) is a no-brainer - top notch gear & hard to beat. It is also very well distributed and serviced in New Zealand & Worlwide.
As Robert says - riders can be fickle & we all do things / make changes for on occasions " the wrong reasons" , - but most of us will try " almost anything" to go that little bit faster.
My service experience with Dukic Suspension has overall been very good, - Kerry has a " different approach" to many and can cetainly regail a humourous story or two along the way........, thats not to say Robert cant either (some of his stories of a certain retired female prime-minister - are not printable here......) :-)

There are also other suspension brands & service options available in New Zealand & some of these are underdeveloped & often overlooked. It pays to keep an open-mind to any options that might provide an advantages.

Bottom line & my favorite quote to any rider young or old "The stopwatch doesnt lie" - believe in it FULL STOP.
Use what ever product /service agent / or mentor that gives you an ever improving laptime.

I think when there is money involved ( greeks bearing gifts ) people will find justification to jump and also there is a perception that CKT is often spread thin ( true enough ) Its always easy to align yourself with top riders to look good when in fact it can often be very rewarding helping the grass roots riders, which we often do. And Im not neccessarily talking financial gain!
I dont use large words like Robert -
You have turned into a real arsehole Robert - I used to like you. Emailing a race teams major sponsor slagging them off and risking the future of that team just because they want to use another suspension person and another brand product to make it cheaper shows what a greedy and disgusting person you have become. Trying to fuck over a large well known team in NZ wont do you any favours with a lot of people. You need to get over yourself and accept that people are allowed to choose who and what product they use.

So you dont think this is from some person that has no idea about fuck all

I think you need to re read that again even though you were not the intended recipient, you only took what you wanted out of it with an imbalanced and overly emotive viewpoint. Were it not confidential people would make their own judgement call based on the WHOLE CONTEXT, which was fair, totally factual and balanced ( and you know it ) And an expression to maintain dialogue.
Yes people are free to choose and use. I only feel aggrieved because of the use of my equipment for some considerable time at no lease charge( from which the person recieved not inconsiderable income ) and that just didnt matter one brass razoo when it came down to tin tacks.
    I neither apologise for;
    1) Having paid attention at school and having a habit of using large words ( so what, am I to be burnt at the stake for having the temerity to do so? )
    2) Having some old world etiquette of fairness
    3) Complaining when there is visibly shonky work happening.

I will not be used again, nothing more to be said.

And others, I dont begrudge an income having been accrued, I just begrudge being taken for granted. That is reasonable to be angry about.

Several weeks ago I reaffirmed with his principal sponsor that I would loan one set of suspension for Gareth Jones use this season to help ensure that there was a Yamaha on the track. This followed up from making the offer even earlier ( You can check but it didnt go beyond his principal sponsor, but as you have chosen to publish imbalanced snippets into the public arena I may as well disclose that ) This rises totally above all reservations I have with certain personalities. There were no contentious strings attached but heck in light of what you have just said do I consider now withdrawing such an offer that will help get bikes on the grid?

Are these the actions of a money grubbing a..ehole?

All good Glenn and its so relevant about keeping an open mind about alternative products. We will have a Race Tech shock to test in the near future. The unfortunate fact with these is that they are currently more expensive than the Swedish product.
