Yip! I was in the kitchen prepping dinner (like the good little boy that I am) and the pot started rattling...went to turn it down before I realised I hadn't turned it on yet!

well aj and or quasi can decide but i feel the game is losing its shape a bit....a tag is a tag.If it ends up over the rapa so be it ,someone will be nutty enough to go get it,so lets leave it is my vote.

The mighty Buell disgraced itself again. Last heard being carried home in the back of a van. That bike spends more time being chauferred around then ridden. So - my tag in flower pot land is the one to find. Let me know when you coming over (o272716300) and I will meet there for brekkie or smoko or lunch or whatever. Are these rules being followed?

Rules are easy...
#1 - Find the tag and reproduce the photo (as best as possible). The first person to post a found tag gets to place the next tag. If you get a tag, but somebody else posts their picture first, you lose.
#2 - Take the tag to a new location(location to remain in "host area"), get the photo and post it here. Give a few hints so the next person can figure out where the tag is located. Try to place the tags in interesting locations, maybe a bit of history that can be found down some nice twisties.
#3 - Tag must be a) findable and b) may be placed on a dirt road if a street bike can make it. Maintained gravel is OK, but make sure to let folks know that gravel is required to get to your tag. We don't want to exclude those who don't like to get dirty.
#4 - File photos are NOT permitted. You gotta ride to play this game.
#5 - Your bike has to be in the TAG picture

My opinion is a photo of a tag location should be taken after a tag is claimed - posting an earlier photo just to get it up on the site quickly to keep the game moving and not riding to get a photo will reduce the challenge of the game.

As a newbie I am a bit confused as to what is acceptable - eg file photos.
My opinion is a photo of a tag location should be taken after a tag is claimed - posting an earlier photo just to get it up on the site quickly to keep the game moving and not riding to get a photo will reduce the challenge of the game.
I hope I haven't got this wrong - but someone will set me straight as this is KB.

In the meantime, tag is still in Rapa, tomorrow going to be a glorious day for riding and meeting new friends. UNless the Coasties do a mass onslaught in the dead of night, when we least expecting it. They Coasties after all

We discussed this a little while ago and it was agreed that a file pic is ok for a new tag but definately not to claim one.

I think it is generally accepted that file photo's can be used to place a tag but you MUST RIDE to capture a tag. The original idea was to have a timestamp in the pic but due to the technicalities that not everyone had the technology to follow this idea, honesty presides.

Now! do I , don't I, do I , don't I.........
