Its funny, sitting here thinking about who might be punished with any laws that may come into effect as a result of the new legislation.

Nearly all the times I've been pulled up I've been doing something wrong and mostly been ticketed because of it. Have been pulled up a few times randomly or for a mis-understanding and been let go with no further action. It just seems that MOST OF THE TIME the pol have it right when they take action against people.

Unless you are very unlucky its the same old thng aye, if you aren't doing anything wrong, you don't have anything to worry about aye.

BTW: Love the RX8 bodystyle, it's one of the few modern cars that appeal - mechanicals (engine) not as cool.

This has been answered earlier, but - who wants to go to the beach? HEAPS - mum, dad and the kids, young and old folk. Last thing they want to hear is the "dooooff doooofff" boom boxes, the "wank wank" rotaries and the pissssssshht fart valves (oops.. blow off valves...), again and again and again..........

The same goes for the main city streets, when you're out having a dinner with friends.... same shit.

I know it's mine so I wouldn't even contemplate going to Whangamata or Mt Maunganui, particularly at New Years.

What complete crap. It's not going to make anything go away. What it will do is give a greater incentive to do runners. There are plenty of powers the Police already have to deal with recidivist boi wankers - they just want more bullying power for all citizens.

They have done exactly that here. Council and Police got together with the boy racers and Ferndene track have offered their place for a small charge. Burnout pad in the middle. Well patronised too.

But the problem exists... still.... out on the streets......
