Had two days off crook last week and had no sick pay and i've got shitloads I need to spend money on between now and Xmas so something unfortunately had to give.... 1000k is like 4 weekends casual riding for me anyway so...

Well it's getting close now. Got the bike out today. Gave it a wash, checked the oil and tyres. Just need to gas up and I'm good to go.. can't wait.

50/50 whether I go or not. On antibiotics and pain meds for terrible dental infection - worst ever for me. Going out for a ride today to see how I feel. I definitely want to go and am *planning* to do the C1KC - have all maps and directions, but will see how I am tomorrow.

Woke at 3 AM to pop a cocktail of meds - worst $#@X%!! dental pain I have ever had. Feeling better at the moment - it has been f***n rough since Monday, not to mention $$ cost.

Anyhow I feel better now so I am off for a test ride to the Manawatu and then down to Petone.
