To put in perspective, if you show up at a WSBK round on an old GS500 that is puking oil from every part it can then you don't comment that you don't think paint on Spies' upper quite matches the lower.
People can say what they want about America but come talk to me when people are drowning trying to get here by sailing over here on a post card.
The point actually is: if he was trying to sell me his upper & lower as a matched set, then yes I can comment. I don't have to be part of his team to do so; nor does his team have an exclusive hold on the knowledge of paint.
What's that got to do with anything? btw ppl do that trying to get in to my country, too.
As my pommie father-in-law is wont to say: "Ah, America, our most successful colony!"
Cheers,
Colin

We also dont make a habit of seeking business overseas, that may be an old fashioned concept. But as an Ohlins distributor we have an appointed territory that we operate in. There is parasitical and parrallell importation going on and we are therefore very mindful of not divulging too much unless we know EXACTLY who the person is and where he is from. More than once I have been free with information and that has not been reciprocated with business.
Thankyou now for the full answers I was seeking, it would have saved a lot of trouble had you been more forthcoming in the first instance. No shite, just reasonable prudence.
