Yeah, they are supposed to be a good all rounder for such as myself. Should get some better millage out of them in the middle :P I thought I would be the odd ball out and go for a tyre that no one has tried yet hehe

Reviews on the net rave on about them so I am keen to give them the test

Sounds like a good tyre...i'd look for one with a harder compound rubber in the middle so it lasts longer but soft compound on the edges for better grip...cool with the logo's appearing on it though...what if you do a burnout?
You can ride a motorcycle any time of the month

Then it turns into a demon quicker :P

As far as I am aware they are not a multi compound but people have been saying that they wear really good so it will be very interesting I am looking forward to having oodles of wet weather friendly tread in the middle

Dude, you should go to something like the Avon Storms or Pilot Road2's that have the harder compound in the centre. I saw some of the Angels on a touring bike and thought they were a bit of a marketing ploy, but the guy riding on them said they were good in the wet and were excellent for touring/communting. Do you really want a wet weather touring tyre on your razor sharp sports bike over summer???
One in four people are unbalanced. Think of three friends - if they seem OK then you're the one!

Yeah I am starting to ponder that myself after the further reading I am doing, but I figure I will just have to get em hotter :P, Or just ride a bit more sensible on the road. It was either those or rosso's and yeah absolutely the stupid branding in the middle is just stupid and the promo video's are just wanky yet many do swear by them, BUT! my bike weighs in at around 170kg, touring bike a lot heavyer than that.. so yeah, I might change my mind come tomorrow and get the Rosso's

Apparently after about 1000ks the angelic image wears away, leaving a demonic image in it's place (depending on how you ride)

I'd be keen to see them once you've got them on (hold on though.......has anyone actually seen Layton on his bike for a while?)

    Described as a hooligans tyre?
I thought you were taking the piss to start with but no... lol

pretty cool if ya ask me!!!

Yeah I bailed on that crazy idea LOL, Thanks Jamroll for the advice! I done some more digging and found only good words about the angels came from Touring riders with bikes and bellys heavyer than I, about 80-100kg more bike and rider than I am packin so a bit too touring orientated for my bikes temperment.

I ended up getting some pilot powers And I must say, it is insanely amazing how much a different set of tyres makes LOL, Much smoother ride home in the rain and the tyres acually feel round

Will lube chain soon and take my tyre preasure once it has cooled down as a bench mark.
