Think Devo has hit the nail on the head here, its just the timing of the tag. Not much thought about other players when he did this.

hey look that red ute pulls up cop goes and talk to the guys and comes back and say this fore fighter said you did all these things so they must be true.

hmmm... ok i did not run a red light mr police man and but i did over take some cars on a white line area but did not exceed 110km mr police man, the yellow mini i also passed but only because he was driving erratically, i think you should breath test him mr police man.

police man say's i'm going to issue you with a infringement notice for "overtaking on the wrong side of a marked yellow line". if you wish to dispute this the firefighter has said he will gladly take this to court.

Here is the fine, it finally turned up yesterday.

Apparently I have to write a letter to contest this infringement.

Only argument I can think of is “how can they give me a fine without the police man actually seeing me do it...”

Basically that means if there is any people I don’t like, I can call the cops and lie about something eg. I saw such and such speeding, overtaking on yellow lines, jacking off while driving... does that mean they will also get a fine???

What are your thoughts?

Just about every tag in this game is only known by a select few, especially when the tag is up the coast.

I thought that Dangerous Driving reported by witnesses were required to be reported by more than one seperate sets of witnesses, I think this COP was taking the word of the WITNESS because he was fire department - that may not stand up in court, but either way you will need to contest it.

Oh, And apparantly you committed the offence at Buell O'Clock at night - That might be the Tecnicality a lawyer may use.

BRONZ Wellington will stand beside Christian (aka Drogen Omen) in court in this case

I just spoke with a lawyer and the Ute was acting in a manner that made this rider feel threatened therefore he needed to make space between himself and the vehicle that had been tailgating him dangerously close while using a hand held cellphone....

That the Ute was doing the same speed while tailgating the bike and using a cellphone (*555 matters not) and was agressivly pacing the motorcycle is another issue alltogether, Drogen was obviously fearful of the close proximity of a large V8 vehicle travelling right on his rear wheel with no stopping ditance taken into consideration

the Ute owner is the offender here IMO

case dismissed my pick

Well I must say it's been a most enjoyable 5 1/2 months since I returned to biking. Have met a lot of wonderful people, had a bit of a trip to Parliament and enjoying getting and missing tags.

You are all welcome anytime to drop in at Cafe Raumati, and I wish you all safe riding and the best festive good wishes for the holidays.

Still chained to the galley bench for another couple of hours and will be on the flight path daily during the gap days.

Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to you all ... and ride Safe.

Sorry Malcolm but I disagree. The very fact that folk are on holiday has meant that the tag has been taken very early and then moved on (if KGB ever get's his AIG) What would have been wrong was for it to be done whilst everyone is in work and unable to go get it, therefore leaving the game in limbo until one of the 'select few' has time to go get it.

Whilst I appreciate that yourself, Devo and Scout have done a lot of K's getting tags (as have I), there was a point in the game when the tag was moved around Param from building to building where only the select few in Kapiti knew where it was due to local knowledge. As it has been said before, specifically directed at me, that is the nature of the game. You get some, you lose some.

This was a one off joke.
