Who will be 2010's GP winners?

A little over a week to the start of the season, who's picking who to take home the silverware from Ruapuna? My picks for Supers and Supersport are....

    Superbikes.
    1st. A Stroud
    2nd. R Bugden
    3rd. C Shirrifs
Sadly supers looks like it will be thin again this year, Stroud winning would go against recent form but race tactics not pace held him back at this round last year were he smashed the lap record with a time .5 sec ahead of the rest, having the 1st round at Ruapuna gives him a good chance of leading from the first round and putting the pressure on Bugden who will be looking forward to heading to Teretonga were the Dunlops have had a recent advantage over the Pirelli shod bikes. Despite theHondas improvements over the off season it would be suprising to see them challenging for the win at Ruapuna, James Smith despite lack of time on the big bikes will make a fight of it for third with Shirrifs. Will we see the 1st sub 1.30 lap by a super?

    Supersport
    1st. Sam Love
    2nd. James Smith
    3rd. Glen Skachill

Big call picking Sam for this but if he can get his bike setup right, which seems to be his achilles heel so far this season, I can see him causing an upset. Wouldn't rule out seeing Jay Lawrence or Nick Cole on the podium after all is done and dusted. Looks to be the class that will provide the fierciest racing this summer.

ya, can't wait for this season to get underway, going to be a goody. I think the supers will be between those 3 with Jimmy smith hanging on with them at Ruapuna hopefull. 600 will be badass with James Smith usually bilstering fast on 600 and I'm sure there will be a gagle of riders trying to hang on including Dennis Charlett, Nick Cole, Skectchy, Sam Love and some others.

Good thread. I look forward to these ones although I always manage to fuck it up.

    Superbike
    1st. Craig Shirriffs
    2nd. Bugden
    3rd. Stroud

    600 Sports Production
    1st. James Smith
    2nd. Sketchy
    3rd. Nick Cole

Thin entry levels again, but some pretty cool racing to be witnessed anyway I reckon.

There are other classes racing as well y'know.

    125GP:
    1. Avalon Biddle (not on hot form right now, but loves Ruapuna and will find her mojo)
    2. Glen Orwin (well, we can dream ay?)
    3. Alie Hoogie (kit engine will develop issues while 1min out in front and be caught by the above).
2009 Champ is over the hill and won't last the distance, hehehehehe

    600:
    1. Glen S
    2. Glen S
    3. Glen S
(ooops that looks a bit sucky!!)

    F3:
    1. Glen W
    2. Terry F (if entered) otherwise Jason Nairn
    3. Jason Nairn or Jason Easton if the bike keeps going.

I think it'll be between Stroud and Bugden, with the Hondas of Sheriffs and Fitzgerald 3rd and 4th.

crashes/dnf's could well decide the winner.

Sheriffs will push them if he can go "crashless"
I call it like I see it. Don't take it personally.
