Got some time off shortly, what are the boundaries of the Waikato district again? I thought Waihi was the furthest we went ,obviously not...

It appears that the Coromandel is accepted as being within our boundaries.
I think its a matter of common sense. We will soon tell you if you have taken it to far.
In general terms my thoughts are as follows:
1 North:
A line from Port Waikato through Mercer and Miranda. Plus the Coromandel.
2 East:
Waihi otherwise the Kaimais and the Mamakus are the boundary
3 West:
As far as the sealed roads can take you.
4 South:
Piopio, Benneydale, Whakamaru and Atiamuri.

Well, we're in the Waikato phone book and Environment Waikato/ Waikato DHB administer the Coromandel so it looks like we're all one happy family

The boundaries are what is shown as the waikato region on google maps. Look for the dotted lines that show regional boundaries.

yip, we're a big region but remember, just because you put the tag somewhere far far away, doesn't mean anyone is gonna go get it.

(I was gonna try and use a bedtime story to go with the "far far away" but couldn't be assed)

I know where that is!!! - will be there tonight. Pity its such a mission for me to take photos, email to me, email to someone else to save in another drive etc etc. The problem with having email through citrix and working on 2 systems at once. bah humbug
