If thats the only mistake the reporter made, consider it a good effort. Anyone with a little inside knowledge on a given story will know they get details wrong all the time.

It's just an internet forum. Not that hard really.

Although a sentence along the lines of "people who know each other through the kiwibiker internet forum" is somewhat more cumbersome than calling it a club and moving on.

I hope we do not need to go any further into the debate of who rides with who and when, its your own choice as to who you ride with and your responsibility as to how you ride, it is also your responsibility to ensure your bike is in working full working order, and you are riding within your ability.

One can hope lessons were learnt from past events.
