I've found through personal experience that most 250s are raped to shit, and in bad condition due to lack of maintenance. The ones that are in marginally better condition are criminally priced. They're simply wearing out - the last of the performance 250s rolled off the production line in 1994/1996 iirc.

Then there's the RS250, but I won't get into that as they cost more than a modern 1000.

Its better to learn how to ride on a SV650 that hasn't been raped to shit by a learner than a 4 cyl bike that'll be $2000 more with 30,000 extra km.

    I liked this one!

Cats land on their feet. Toast lands jamside down.
A cat glued to some jam toast will hover in quantum indecision

Curiosity was framed; ignorance killed the cat

Fix a computer and it'll break tomorrow.
Teach its owner to fix it and it'll break in some way you've never seen before.

he'd have been better off staying on the bike... bloody funny.

Ummm, that would be an Excellent Tyre.
After you have got 12000 k out of it, then there is the opportunity to do what you want with it.

Personally, I'm a wuss, and just get the shop to dump it in the land fill...

Agree with the topic but not with that lame video! Burnouts? Please.... give me a break.

250s are for one thing and one thing only- cornering, the reason the vast majority of us ride bikes.

Here are 3 videos demonstrating exactly why 250s are indeed awesome fun, definitely worth watching

    That's all for now folks...

I understand what you mean. There's simply just not enough power for anything else.

What were they thinking designing a bike with engine so small like that.

250's have got nothing. 125-150 is where the fun is at.

    +1

Surely those dude's don't have anyway near as much fun as a biker hitting the Coro loop...
