Switch to Bourbon and I reckon you'd have the country fixed before dinner time

Good god, god help us if they do switch to bourbon, there would be no ride, they'd never leave the pub!! They would be too far gone to declare war!

    Awesome

Time for a gloat to all those who missed out...
A small but hardy group of 5 met at BK. Light rain falling
Greasy Dyers Pass and through to Wheatsheaf Corner to wait for Flip.
Lacking the optimism of the rest of us he bought the Lotus. It has a Yamaha head and later he took the roof off so I suppose its a honourary motorcycle...
Through to Little River on damp roads. Petra leading at a (for her) sedate pace.
Apoligies from me for additional touring until we found each other at Millers Road.

The ride up the hill was really foggy but as we popped over the crest suddenly the fog was gone and the most spectacular view was laid out before us. Whilst not sunny, it was light and warm.
On to Akoroa for some chit chat, fish n chips, teas and coffee's then off for home again on some nicely drying roads and very little traffic.

A bloody good way to 'waste' a Saturday

Winter rides - A warm jacket and a bit of optimism and you shall have your reward.

Six of us went to Akaroa. Well five really one of our number cheated and came over in his very snazzy Lotus.

A good time was had by all and thanks to RQ for not going too fast and leaving me too far behind

Suffering serious withdraws from not being on a bike for 4 weeks.Hand healing up from my surgery & Im ready to ride again, but the weather put me off

Started the bikes up on Friday, the thumper burst into life and the Ducati fired into noisy, rumbling throbbing sound(makes me smile every time I start the gorgeous beast)

    This week im riding again

Well thats good news. Everybody asked after you on Sat and were were wondering how you were getting on.

I'm booked in for almost the same thing 16 June (just after the brass). You were right about Fiona Tims, she seems very competent.
