Yes, I noted that too Choppa... Amazing how I can still feel a twinge of pain when I see an image like that...
The worst part for Rossi, is that he was still tumbling when it was already broken.

I wonder exactly what part of the sequence it broke.

Lorenzo was ahead of Rossi on points, and he has come from behind and passed Rossi in the past races. If Lorenzo wins the champs most people will give him the credit he deserves.
The big surprise to me was that it was Rossi that has crashed out, I was expecting Lorenzo to throw it away, as he has been pushing really hard this season.

Rossi has told Yamaha (earlier this season) he doesn't want Lorenzo as a team mate, so one of them has to go for next season.
If Lorenzo wins the championship Yamaha will have a tough decision to make.

So I've read.Seems odd to me. If you're the greatest of the great...you should back yourself to beat anyone else no matter what they're riding. Maybe even better if you're on the same equipment. Better than having your opposition on a better bike if you're already worried about him. I'll be interested to see who they put on Rossi's bike now.

knowing how superstitious Rossi is - I doubt we will ever see that hairstyle and that helmet design EVER again.

Will be very interesting to see who rides his bike in the next few races, will it be Edwards? Will it be Spies or perhaps Toseland or even Crutchlow? Or someone much more random..
And even more interesting how with this spin out in contract negs later in the year?
    Hahahahaha classic!!!

If people say Lorenzo only won becuase Rossi crashed then he would only be getting his own shit back...since he said rossi only won becuase of tyres...bike...anything he can think off....It will be interesting to see how he handles the pressure of being the leader....I would pick Spies to come in for Rossi...

I would like to see that. With Rossi out I have much less interest in the MotoGP. Bring back Haga!

Makes me wonder if it ws mechanical.

Get well soon Val - it's not going to be the same....................
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

Kinda agree, in fact i'd be slightly surprised to not see Spies in the Fiat Yamaha team next year one way or the other, ideal opportunity for an impromtu test.

MMmmmm...I can't recall Lorenzo being a sore loser that makes excuses mate. Seem to remember Rossi blaming his shoulder of late though.

Don't think from memory Lorenzo blamed his physical state even when he had two broken ankles?
