Popping the tops off the bottles and letting them warm up slightly over a few hours does the trick.

I might be driving down and then driving back to Auckland instead of staying the night. It's the weekend before my thesis hand-in date, so things might be a little hectic for me...

Edit: Will be able to provide a ride down and probably back at some time in the early hours.

After your last display of drinking prowess, perhaps you are better off sticking with the crowd and just doing a yardie? It'll be my first, so no doubt you'll be able to show me up anyway!
