Just a reminder for as many people to bring along a portable tyre pressure gauge (and a couple of small torches wouldn't hurt!). We want everyone to both know how to check their tyres, and to actually do it.

Because of the leisurely pace at NASS most of us will be lucky to get our tyres "warm". So having your tyres 10psi under pressure or worse can have a huge impact on the handling of a bike.

If you don't know already - find out what pressure you front and rear tyre should have in them before coming along. Otherwise there might be a lot of guessing going on.

Who's going to the protest on Sunday?

Will be a chance to have some fun with other bikers and catch up for a drink if nothing else!

I'll be there with my camera, in case anyone wants a portrait together with their beloved 2 wheels...

For any of you who feel your horn is a little limp...

These are a particular boost to those on smaller bikes with lighter cheaper horns and not enough skills horse power to necessarily get out of the way.

If enough people indicate an interest I'll bring the 'busa this week so people can sample the nautilus.
Does anyone have a magnum to bring for same reason?

Any of you that have heard the horn on my scooter knows what the Nautilus sounds like - must be like 20x better than the standard Burgman horn. Other motorists now KNOW if I beep my horn at them.

Thanks to my electrical problem last week we didn't manage to do this. Could as many people bring along a portable tyre pressure gauge again please, and we'll try and do a tyre check at Albany this week. It will only take 10 mins.
If you don't know what tyre pressure you should be running try and find out before you come, otherwise we'll be doing best guess.

Fuck me. Two weeks in a row now I have had an electrical fault and have had to get a tow back to a workshop. Hopefully next week I'll be able to make it along.

Nope. When a bike is running they get their power from the alternator - and you only use them when the bike is running.
