These guys couldn't have known that the poor victim was mortally injured. They were just laughing at the fact that he had crashed. This does not excuse their behaviour at all, just shows them for what they are, the empathy lacking brainless putrid scum that occaisionaly floats to the surface.

Wonder how many people condemning the actions of the by standers have something amusing to say when a bike thief crashes and burns?

A Lady who nursed the rider after the crash said on Newstalk ZB today, that no one laughed or behaved in any manner that would cause offence, so possibly the whole thing is B.S

In saying that, a few drivers where giving Loosebruce and DSS3 a earful as they where dying, luckily I hadn't arrived at that point otherwise there would have been consequences.
Ive run out of fucks to give

I think its OK to tell people what you think of their actions but NOT ok to do it if they are critically injured - ie a time and a place for everything as our mothers would have said. I sersiously would doubt that any Maori or PI folks I know would ever behave in that fashion as (well they just wouldnt OK) and I truely hope this is a beat up.

Regardless - what a damn shame and ... well... I dunno... just a damn shame

Many years ago I fell off a bike on the side of the road, some young men driving past laughed their arses of at my misfortune. It happens.

I'm sure these jeerers are not laughing quite so hard now.
Very true. People can be just downright cruel at others misfortune. Sad to see anyone lost their life.
