The Gixxer lives!!!! Just completed a small test ride including open city routes and all working well. I'm still waiting for a few things and it looks a bit rough but back on the road and mobile.

Will be giving a new rear tyre soon and need to fix the high beam as the ballast blew before it even got onto the road. But otherwise I"m street legal and ready to roll.

Will still be a couple weeks before I can join you guys though as I'm in New Pymouth and Taupo next weekend.

But looking forward to riding with you all again... order up a sunny day please !!!!!

Now back to the Track bike.... Engine together ... just need to put it back in

OH yeah... don't know if it was just not being used to the big engine, the fact I removed the set valve whilst it was off the road or a suspension problem, but the whole damn ride the front wheel kept popping up Not my usual style so I am guessing there was a withdrawal symptom playing in there combined with a twitching right hand.

Seemed to hate low speed corners and intersections... this is where it was most likely to throw its head up and charge away from them

Yep, will both be there. its bright blue sky up here.
there looks like there might be a few showers but not like yesterday.
not much on the rain radar either.
