Nice, reminds me of the film Rendezvous.....

Here's another of my favourites, the Group B Audi Sport Quattro E2 as driven by Walter Rohrl at Pikes Peak:

And on the subject of Pikes Peak, this is a must watch - Ari Vatanen in the Peugeot 405 T16 on his way to breaking the record in '88

Attempting to bring it back to Lambos...

Gotta agree with ya on that one, but like all Italians, when they're young GOD they're good looking but how the hell do they get so ugly when they're older????

Such a mystery. Kinda like Russians, but there cars are always ugly.

Whoops, slipped off the topic again.

Yup. Disappointing. Like taking a supermodel home and finding out she's lame in bed.

Yeah figured as much. It felt the same when I drove the first gen Elise. Would still kill to drive the Elise GT1 though.

Nah....just winding you up... Well at least as far as driving/being driven in one goes, have seen a few over the years , but never in NZ.
Though if the one they tested on Top Gear a while back was anything to go by, Hans's description sounds like it's on the money!

Does look cool for a car that made it's debut in the mid '60's though!
