You can do any road if you just take it within your own limits - just go slow. If traffic gets up behind you, pull over and let it through. I did plenty of this when I was just back on the SV. All roads are possible if you don't approach them like a MotoGP race track...practice makes perfect!

Picked the tag up at Grey Rd this morning, took it to Te Anga - got home to find it's already been claimed, but I had a shit hot ride with young Josh on his CBR1000.

Picked up the replacement bike late Friday afternoon. Family in the way yesterday so today after the rain stopped, though "sweet, will go after that new tag".....
Just before I finished getting suited and booted, thought I better check someone hadnt already beat me to it....
    Did the Karapiro loop instead
So the old fox stuffed 3 others rides today, i sure hope he is happy with himself

Suzuki VL 250, 2008 7.5k klms, ventura rack, $4200, thought i got a good deal. Goes quite well.

Didnt get another GV 250 as I have now had the "new bike" experience and cant be fucked with depreciation, feeling guilty about not washing it etc. Also buying second hand meant I had no need to look at the price labels whilst shopping for the gears, had an idea what i wanted and just made sure it fit (which was my biggest issue literally).

Make that 4. Although still had an awesome ride. But I was pretty keen to put the tag down here in the South Waikato.

My apologies to all those who missed out.

HOWEVER! Go after the new one - that ride is one of the best around...and better still, no friggin old foxes can beat ya to it...

TBH, I enjoyed yesterday's ride more than any other since I bought that gixxer. I'd have to say, that is one great wee bike. Although I doubt I will ever ride it to its full potential, I get some much enjoyment out of what I do do with it. I'd not swap it for anything.

6 Well kinda. I decided I'd finally brush the dust of Sonic II and at least head out that way to see if the roads really were worthy. They indeed are, but I couldn't actually find the tag I'm obviously completely blind.

Wasn't all bad though. I took some photos with the phone of some cool light effects in the sky but they turned out crap.

Also found out I need to do a lot more riding with my new leather pants to stop me slipping all over the show before I do the Superbike School in October.

My voice went up an octave once when I wasn't gripping the tank hard enough. It only needed to happen once

I was going to put it in Otorohanga somewhere but I was a little short of time so opted for Te Kauri instead. But it's not too far away if you're keen. Great road to ride too.

    Tag Done

Well I went out tag claiming again today, and i think that I may have had some success.

Old tag - Te Kauri lodge out on the way to kawhia.
New tag - Ive stuck with the forestry/ west coast theme. youl find this tag on another route to the west coast.

Your right about the great roads out to te kauri slofox, ill definetly be back there during summer. The roads were pretty wet today out there in places, so im sure its even more fun out there when its properly dry. 200km trip and i filled up when i left and got back, only $11 gas, good old hyosung aye,

By the way, its uni holidays at the moment, so im not that busy. if anyones keen for a ride anywhere anytime, im keen, let me know. cheers
