Just to point out the obvious, are you not being the same thing?

Surely Banditbandit and I can't be the only ones who find some of the comments on this thread offensive?
Not only that but I am pretty sure it contravenes the rules of the site (Correct me if I am wrong moderators).

The woman who owns the plate this thread is about has been "outed" as a National Front member and is known to the police for offensive racist behaviour.
Based on that, her claim that she did not know the possible racist connotations of her plate would indicate that she is either the stupidest white supremisicst that ever lived, or is happy to lie about it. Why get a plate like that if you are not proud of its meaning.

I have a staff of 11 and over the years have had maybe 50 employees go through the place probably 80 percent of those are of Maori or Pacific Island descent. Over the years three employees have been arrested. One who was Maori, and two who were of European descent.
Using those statistics, should I avoid employing European workers?

I employ people based on their own merits, and retain them based on their proven ability.
I do not favour one racial group over another because experience has shown me there are good people in all racial groups and lazy, stupid, or aggressive people in all racial groups. Prejudging people based on race or appearance seems a little silly at best!
