Is it my imagination, but this class... formally called Production Lite by MNZ, been swallowed up by the new SuperLite Rules.?
    Or is it still seperate?

    8) Tyres:

    d) Be worn no more than to the minimum tread depth indicators,

I'm not keen on that. To 'some' of us, there's another three race days left in those tyres!

Wow I cannot believe that this thread still lives! I remembered when this all first started, such drama. I would have loved to raced Chaos, at the time I was still in Novice slow at Puke. Just before I left Auckland I should have been in Novice fast where he was. Ford hill was my favourite corner, passed a few people.

I thought the title of this thread would tell people what bikes they could race in Production Light. Not that I am really up with the play much either.

Sad to hear that the mighty Hyosung had an oopsie. Hope Chaos is ok, not a bad fella once you got to know him, just really opinionated. Side blinkers too closed.

I think it is for the safety factor.... Like RAIN.
To be honest, tyres are cheap. Crashing isn't....

It makes it easier to make a tuned length/equal length system sometimes, which is obviously a plus and you won't notice the extra weight.
It looks bad arse too, which is why I did it.

    Well, I've Finally done it......

After a sucessful talk with Carl at MotoRad about a Proddy Lite bike that the shop had sitting there... Then a trip to a school at a race track a bit north of me... And the purchase of a few tools and spares, I am all geared up for Round 6.

    Who will I see there?
    Woody you going?

Dyno? Hell, didn't you spend enough at a certain school recently? Remember the throttle rule?

I think I will be doing the 27th and 28th at Taupo, but not too sure where things are going after that.... See, my talent as a spanner swinger is still required at the nationals.

Yea haahha it was expensive, but deciding to sell the road gear will pay for the dyno, the thing is when you've only got 28-30hp, if i get 2-3hp from abit of playing around with the bikes EFI that will make a huge difference.

Yea the 27th,28th at taupo should be good.

How do you 'play around' with the GT250r EFI and still remain within the Pro lights rules? I didn't think they were an ajustable unit?
