Well I'm a huge Rossi fan but I don't think he enhanced his rep much with some pretty ropey and flat out dangerous thuggery on Lorenzo. I'd actually love to see somebody run over his fucking foot when he's doing that retarded "dangle". He also jumped the start on my download but didn't get penalised WTF is up with that?

Simoncelli and Bautista again showing promise. Shame about Spies because he was seriously fast once he got back on track.

    Next year could be amazing!

I hope so....but am still unsure.

I'm with you on all of the above! Fuck that leg out shit looks like...shit! Rossi needs a taste of his own medicine quick smart. Doubt he'll like it. I'd say if he tries that shit with Spies he'll get his beans. Rossi has done lots of things 'others' get fined/penalized for. Simoncelli rode really well, and yeah...I think Bautista will get a grip on it too. Is it true that Suzuki have signed Elias? Hope so.

It has emerged that Yamaha management spoke to Valentino Rossi after Sunday's Motegi battle and 'asked' him not to repeat his actions against team-mate Jorge Lorenzo.

Rossi and Lorenzo fought tooth-and-nail for third place during the final laps in Japan, with Rossi literally barging into world championship leader Lorenzo in his determination to hold onto third place.

It worked and Rossi got the position, but Lorenzo - and Yamaha - weren't happy.

This is what Lin Jarvis, managing director of motor racing at Yamaha, told Italian website GPone.com:

"After the race, Jorge came to us and asked our opinion of Rossi's behaviour during the race. There were four of us. Besides me, there was Furusawa and another two people from Yamaha.

"We, together, were in agreement with the fact that a battle like that between team-mates makes no sense. We expect our riders to race with a higher margin of safety and they were too close today.

"After that, (Masao) Furusawa went to talk to Valentino, and he asked him to adopt a different approach when racing other Yamaha riders. We made our position clear. The race was too tight and too difficult. You don't do this; especially considering the situation in the championship.

“There is no implication of wrongdoing, otherwise Race Direction would have intervened. But a rider can be very aggressive, or too aggressive. Valentino was too aggressive."
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

Even aggressive is ok I reckon...but dirty? Nah. If someone like Mladin was around, and he pulled that shit on him...I'd say he'd be spitting teeth or pulling grass out of his ass.

Well Mladin isn't around so... you've made you're point. I unfortunately didn't get to see the race but if it's as you said then I agree, shit like that isn't on and to be fair i'd hope Rossi would man up and apologize. We'll see I guess.

Yeah, make a point of seeing that footage. Not sure if it was dirty (If Lorenzo had come unstuck that could have been different?) but it was HARD. They were racing like they were in the 125 class - but they weren't.

We could look at it from another perspective, Horhay didn't need to push and risk so much with his points advantage. (He has experienced Rossi making stunning moves before.)
Then again if Rossi is so injured why did he risk more hurt ?
Probably why he's a champ 9 times over.
    Guess who's my idol ?? lol.... G.

I think the answer to all your points Gaz is - they ARE RACERS.

The whole episode speaks volumes for their skills. Mere mortals would have ended in the dust.

Hard racing and maybe a little bit dirty but I enjoyed watching it

Most riders wouldn't have put up much of a fight but Rossi did and it made the race much more interesting. Rossi was on the limit but he doesn't take people out very often and in this case he beat Jorge fair an square.
