    Mr Berg is broken

15 minutes into a quad ride on Saturday at Taupo saw Mr B lying on the ground paralysed. Two helicopter rides later, he is currently in Waikato hospital. Fortunently, the paralysis hasn't been permanent and he has regained most of the function back. He has been cleared of a spinal injury, although there is some swelling around some nerves and will be in a collar for a couple of weeks. He has got up for the first time today - walking like he is pissed. The one thing that literally saved his life was his spinal support.

MRS B, that is Horrible news but thank heavens recovery is on its way.
Our Best Wishes to you both and here's hoping that the discomfort and disruptions to normality pass quickly and Mr B is back in the saddle before the summer months are through.

Very sad to hear Mr Berg is damaged, but pleased it's not permanent. Please pass on wishes for a speedy recovery, but tell him he doesn't need to rush for the tags until he's totally better.

Another testament to the ATGATT credo speaking volumes from the field of battle.

Sorry to hear the news. I imagine it was a very traumatic and worrying experience for both of you. But great to hear it's not permanent.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Crickey sorry to here the bad news there hopefully he'll recover fairly quickly. Tell him its much better to stick to two wheels rather than four much safer.
