We thought about painted rivets....or epoxyed on rivets...but decided to go the whole hog and put the real deal rivets in...our panelbeater(Dave Hunt) got them from some aircraft restoration outfit in the UK that ships down here for all the warbirds that get restored in NZ.
It's been a really interesting experience....and we leaned a LOT on folks in our Christchurch community, the guys we used for panel and paint(Dean Lawrence) we can't say enough good things about....they have been absolutely awesome to work with.
Any flaws or mistakes are mine alone...the team inside and outside our shop really gave maximum effort, they get ALL the credit.
I'm just happy the ideas in my head didn't turn into a nightmare when everyone's hard work finally put it all together.
First bike that a tailgunner exhaust wouldn't look (too) retarded on.
