Sorry boys, No Pre89 this year, will probably axe buckets or post classic to fit it in next year, hows that sound

seriously, we have had requests to run Streetstock 150, pre89, and pro twin, all as separate classes, problem is which classes do we axe to fit them in? We talked in depth last meeting about the possibility of a King of the port style race at the end of the day with top 5 from each class but the major issue was time, its still a possibility but it would be almost a 4th formula Greymouth race.

SCORRY - we are all go, The issue with the dirt section has been sorted, We now have our permit to run the event, same format as last year. - with dirt section!!

**ENTRY FORM IS DUE OUT ANY DAY NOW!!!**

Some of the Pre-89 bikes would be eligible for F3 anyway, right? For example I have a Pre-89 ZXR400, would that be ok for F3 at Greymouth? If not I'll just run my bucket.

that's very true mate. most pre89 bikes can enter either F3, bears, F1 or Formula greymouth anyway.

Classes get reviewed every year, for example, we have made supermotard an open class this year as we only had 35 motard entries all up last year and the year before so it seems silly to have separate S1 and S2 races. The only real problem we have is post classic, its always over subscribed. And if the recent increase of 600s and triumph 675's continues then we may have to bring back F2. Buckets have recovered nicely over the last 2 years to gain their own class too. So we are always trying to move with the times without cutting our throats. One change in our format may benefit as many riders as it upsets, but we always consider constructive suggestions.

confirmation is sent back on the monday after entry closure.

I have just this minute finished going through the first lot of entries and giving that traditionally most of our entries come in in the last week or so im pretty impressed with the numbers so far. Good to see lots of regulars getting in early. A few big names popping into the mix too. North island boys strong in supermotards too.

As expected, only 4 spots left in buckets. Classic pre63 already has 12 which is 3 more than last year.
all other classes are hovering around the 20 mark, so looking good!! Way more than this time last year. As the entry form states, we can only run 35 in each class so if you haven't entered then get a move on!!

    Greymouth street races

    Hello from OZ
I went to greymouth in FEB touring NZ on my bike & stayed at Revingtons hotel in Greymouth, in the bar there was some bike racing on the TV I asked a local where it was from & he said here in October, so on my return to OZ I organised some mates & booked into Revingtons for the races
The weekend was fantastic, the racing could not have been better, we went quad riding Saturday, brewery tour Sat arvo we booked again for next year
My annual trip to Phillip Island for the World supers will be replaced by my NZ visit
only 2 things spoilt the trip,, going over ARTHURS PASS in a rental car & the other was we could not find the place where all the Motard nutters are kept
    look forward to next year
