So is it the charity ride this Sunday?

I'm trying to work out if I can work things around a ride this weekend or not. Dunno if I wanna go for a shorter ride or make it a decent one since Sonic II hasn't been out in a while (apart from a short blat last night).

Looks like there may be a new addition to the garage this weekend. Looking at a bike for Donna on Saturday. If all pans out, it first outing will be the charity ride in the weekend. Someone is pretty stoked at even the thought.
If you don't know where you are going , any road will get you there ............

    Fine. Southerlies dying out.

You know you want to ride - Sundays ride in the Calendar. I will be leaving the Kingsgate Hotel about 9.30 at the latest. Ride leaves warwick street school 10.00. Cost $5 for Special needs Charity.

Hmmm. Even if she doesn't return with a bike, don't expect the money to come back...

    Thumbs up

Hey thats good news the jmk's. Hey Murray, sorry I could not come on this one, this year ( last year it was a great ride)Was in Taupo with the MAG-NZ Gathering.
Wished you'd been able to do both.
Brought Fatt Maxx up with me this morning and just missed you at the Kingsgate.
Got to catch up with Quasi though and have no longer got any money and attracted a large Mortgage to pay for the new jacket.
    Worth every cent .
Will look to catch up with you soon.
Every day above ground is a good day!:

Where was everyone on Sunday?/ About 7 or 8 of LOR group turned up and about 30 odd bikes total, varied in all shapes, sizes and ages. It was a pretty easy 150km ride but most people managed to get lost and it all added to the fun of the day. The special needs school put on a decent day, cheap food, drinks hot rod display, bikes and raffles. Those that missed it missed a good worthwhile cause day!!!

    Charity ride

Murray, The GB500 died as I stopped at Gordonton rd waiting for traffic to clear before Thomas rd.
Was running fine but cut out when idling waiting to turn. Wouldn't fire up at all. The 2nd time in 40 yrs I've ever had to bring a bike home on a trailer

Was a great run tho. Who is the rider with the Laverda? he was going to give me his contact details.

I made a spectators appearance. Pretty good turnout. Wish I'd grown a pair now and taken my bike along. Bit nervous being a green as they get beginner and wasnt sure if I could handle a 2 hour ride. Next time round Im in for sure and I will have to make an appearance with the LOR group one of these days.
