That looked pretty bloody good to me. The way you were passing everyone, group 3 will be no problem at all.

And the camera quality is awesome. I must get a real one
    What part of for(int i=0xC02;putchar((i&7)+69)&&(i>>=3); ); don't you understand?

Your doing 1:10 to 1:15 i am still only doing 1:20 with a few good laps thrown in.
Best this time was a 1:17. i must try and get better drive out of the hairpin and castrol.

yes i couldn't be happier with the camera expect for the crap microphone.
Next time your around get me to show you the high def version that youtube can't show.

I only mentioned the time as i am looking at going into group3 next time and i wanted to make sure the speeds are close before going up. I do look at speeds and times but in regards to myself and no one else.
It is the enjoyment and learning factor that is the most important and the camera makes it look a lot faster than it really is.

All good, it was fun watching your vid from the front of your bike as apposed to watching from the side of the track

Nice Vids guys. Both from puke and Hampton downs. Must have a chat with you sometime regards what cams you are using and how you are mounting.

Apologies that I haven't been out to play but as you may know, someone else decided that they needed my precious more than I did. :-(

Still working through insurance processes at the moment (damned statutory declarations needing JP witnessing... Grrrr). But hopefully sorted soon.

You guys got any thoughts on what I should replace the daytime orange beastie with? I'm thinking along the lines of: cbr600rr 08/09/10, triumph 675 (couple of beautiful SE 2010s on tardme at mo), duc 848, or potentially I have heard mutterings that the new mv Augusta 600 might not be badly priced either. The new aprillia appeals but I think I'm better off with a middleweight with my size / build. Also keep in mind that I've not ridden or sat on any of them bar the Suzie or Honda. And (sorry Boris) the Suzie just didn't light my candle when I rode it. So all thoughts and suggestions appreciated. But do keep in mind that I do about 50/50 rides / commuting!!

    Hoppy.

I'm not sure the bigger bikes (litre+) are necessarily much bigger in terms of weight/height etc. Wiki quotes dry weight of latest CBR1000RR at 175kg as opposed to CBR600RR at 172.8kg.

1000cc motor must be lighter than 600cc 'cos it has bigger holes in it

    So go bigger

Another option considering the commuting side is to go naked bike. Something like the Hornet, or the Shiver. Brutale looks nice

    Welcome.

If the weather is OK, we should be riding from Caltex in Dairy flat (see first post of thread) at 10:00ish on Sunday.

Edit: I just checked the forecast - doesn't look good at this stage. But since when is the forecast right

Looks like it will be a day at Woodhill if it is still raining on Sunday, and looking at the rain forecast it will be.

We're doing Woodhill tomorrow afternoon. Should be fun. At least the sand should be packed down a bit so a bit easier for us noobs
