So was tonights ride cancelled? I would have thought it was a perfect 'learn to ride in the rain' night for learners.

not cancelled at all. Only got wet at the beginning. Was already soaked with sweat so the rain was glorious!

Fabulous night for a quiet cruise around the Bays. Only real hazard tonight was cyclists taking up the lines we wanted to take on the corners. They have as much right to the road as us tho, so it was a case of altering the way we ride to give them room. No aggro and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
Wonderful to see riders working their way through the licenses. Congrats to those who have got off their L-plates and good luck to those sitting full license this week.

Same time next week folks. I'm thinking about heading out to Makara for a change. Who is up for it?

Got it!! Such a good feeling. Especially after my bike broke down on the motorway on the way home after the Tuesday night ride. Front sprocket nut came off, so got that fixed yesterday in time for todays test. Thanks TSS

Hutt Valley Riders meeting from 5.30pm at Avalon Park Carpark
Leaving 6.30pm for Makara
Wgtn. Riders we can meet you at Caltex Hutt Rd opposite Onslow Rd. ETA 6.50pm
Via. Tinakori, Glenmore, Chaytor, Karori, Makara Roads.
After brief stop at the beach we will head to McDonalds Johnsonville via Takarau Gorge Rd.
ETA 8.30pm. This will be final destination for the night, leave at your leisure from there.

Ride caters for Learner Level Riders but all are welcome to join this slow cruise.

Ratti, I am still stuck on the varsity course for the Tuesday nights. But I am really keen to go out on your excursion rides!!! Am happy to meet up. Have grown a lot more confident (and hopefully competent!) Let me know if you have the patience for another tag along ride. I am hoping to go for my resticted some time in March. Would love some pointers!
