S/XB...ha ha yeah I knew you were messing with me but I just couldn't resist taking the bait LOL.
Why do you think yr Buell is gonna go pop? Trust me, Buells are pretty hard to kill
    he he he.
My X1 is 11 years old and has been lovingly thrashed her whole life, she is 'tired' but in no danger of kicking the bucket...she gets serviced every 4000kms... I'm anal about it.
I'm riding the CR at the mo while the X1 is having a rest...paint touch ups, general maintenance stuff. I love having the CR as a 2nd bike cos it only needs servicing every 10k or once a year, whichever comes first.

Anyways this is a bit off topic sorry!

Paeroa...love to but need to save some $$s. Normally I would be doing the Thames Valley Riders run the day before and I'm even giving that a miss...sob snif. Thats a REALLY good run. Had a blast on it last year... hell yeah.

Maybe catch ya tonight (Thursday) ?

Sharper's looking for excuses to go bike shopping cos the XB has a hard time catching the 'Blade on the track...

Yes, yes, I know it's a completely different story on our road rides.

I know what ya mean AJ my back tyre is looking pretty naffed too, but I'm gonna take the risk, hope I wont have to pull out the squigly worms on the side of the road.

The old XB has seen to many thrashing's at hampton downs what with the ride days and superbike school etc, shes starting to get a bit rattly but thats ok keep fanging it till it blows and then rebuild it, parts are cheap from the US.

Oh to have the dosh to have another buell for a second bike, would be nice.

Went to the thursday nighter for a change, can't always get access to KB during the day so missed you message about tonight, it's hard for me to get there on time of late but i busted out of work at a reasonable hour tonight to make an appearance, was a nice little jaunt around the south.

At least you're recovering, that's something. I know we're an impatient lot, though, and want to get back on the horse as soon as we can. Slow and steady as she goes.

Yeah, what's the story for tomorrow?

Seems like theres a bunch of riders from North and West AKL gonna hit the BP Autobahn for breakfast at 9am.
Either ride with them (prolly down the main drag) or beat them to it at the eatery, and go round Dins suggested route via Fiji. Thems some of the options.
    Its knackered!.

Some of us are going to back track after breakfast so we do'nt have to do the main drag but i won't post the route online as there will enough cops out tomorrow without telling where we will play
