Reading a car magazine which stated that in Sweden, black cars make up 4.4% of their car fleet but are involved in 22% of car accidents. I wonder why!
Perhaps cars should have a big fat Hi Vis reflectorised strip around them? Might suggest it to ACC.

Black cars stand out like dog's balls. It'll have more to do with the ego and attitude of the type of people who buy black cars than visibility.
NZ has a LOT of sliver, grey and white cars on the fleet and I find these impossible to see on overcast rainy days if they don't have their lights on.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

^^ this. Living in foggy Hamiltron, it's insane the number of people who drive around, when visibility is low, without their lights on. We need signs that say "hey idiot, just cos you can see others doesn't mean they can see you easily. Turn your frickin lights on when viz is low." Dont the head doctors believe that certain colours cause certain behaviours? Years ago, they changed the interior colour of ambulances from pale blue to a fawny/pink because it was supposed to be 'more settleing' to patients. Blue produced more aggressive behaviour according to the experts.
So I wonder what what affect, black has? Does wearing black leathers make riders anti authority? Wanna break the rules? ,Invincible? & Dislike those who are here to protect us from ourselves? ( according to them ).
