    dunno... ???
I will go as far as saying that the moon MAY have a 'straw that broke the camel's back' effect on faults that are about to go anyway and just need that little tiny push to send them over the edge. If not the moon today then the first worm that farts tomorrow will do it. That's way different to causing earthquakes.

Lol, you see the news doesn't usually report that many. But right now because NZ'ers are all hyped up on Earthquakes it's taking advantage by putting on any report to do with an earthquake, because that's what's on everyones minds.

    News.

Yeah, things like mass fish deaths, or unusual things raining from the sky, they've been reported for hundreds of years, so not that unusual after all. Many news services have people dedicated to finding out unusual things across the globe and sensationalising them these days.

Ummmmm predicting an earthquake in Japan is like predicting you will have sunrise tomorrow.

To be honest I like that news.

Better then finding some fat fuck is the health minister
or some Maori fuck is the maori affairs minister
(fictitious examples - but you get my drift)

News used to be about new, no obvious stuff.

And as our population increases at an alarming rate due to having no natural predators left and vaccines etc curing more and more ailments even more people will be killed due to 'natural disasters'. It's just nature doing it's job, keeping things in check.

I agree with the population increase leading to more people dying in natural disasters cos there's more people in an affected area so more people to die. However, I'm not sure I can believe that it's "nature's way" of population control due to man's ability to avoid dying in other ways
