Vale always took two years to win a championship (Italian, 125GP, 250GP, 500GP), except for the 1st MotoGP 990 championship.
Winning on the Yamaha could arguably have been a bit 'easier' than winning on the Ducati will be.
I for one am totally convinced he will win on the Ducati, but it might be next year. But of course by then the bikes will be different again.

Word from a MotoGP insider is that Vale has gotten engaged over the winter. Proably not to a bloke I would hazard a guess. But another word from another MotoGP insider (who has stayed in hotel rooms directly opposite Vale on several occasions) is that indeed he likes to bat for the other team, but perhaps he is a switch hitter?

It is all irelevent what happens in pre season testing........ practice ....... and even qualifying.
The race result is the one that counts and i believe Vale will get the race results he needs to WIN.

Just watch out for Ben Spies!
He's going to be the next US world Champ!

I'm a big Rossi fan, but the likelihood of him winning on his first year on the Duc with a still healing shoulder is unlikely - though I have high hopes for him taking the title next year, this year I suspect that I'll be gunning for Spies for the win.

    Well, anyone bar Lorenzo really.

Stoner just seems to have that half second at the mo, I think I'll ring Suppo and get him to pat Adriana on the arse. G.

Agreed and if anyone would be sledging it might be him! I certainly wouldn't go any fasterer even if I did have another 1/2 sec up my sleeve! Even in the race if he's not pushed!
Jeepers bet he's happy ridin a gay Honda atm!!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
