Just got back from my Can-Am Spyder experience. Very impressive. It does take a bit to get used to but once you adapt these things are a hoot.

    Well run day guys. Cheers.

that last pic is the one I rode. different for sure.. Not much unlike a quad really. honestly. they have plenty more poke than I was expecting. The steering is very percise and they handle reasonably good. Brakes are very good when you find them . on the flip side.. the traction control sucks. Its crude and really intrusive. If your gonna have a sports model then you want to have fun on it!

Really? I though they were quite like a quad to ride only much more precise steering, brakes etc.. I think the only time I really noticed the T/C activate was gunning it to get speed up for the brake test.
I like them much more the second time around, the first time I rode one I was left with more questions than answers... This time I was much happier after the ride but still would like a decent out of town cruise.

They got through under a car rego because they have a foot brake or so we were told...

One thing I forgot to ask was what sort fuel economy you'd expect out of one, I suspect it'd be pretty poor...

Foot Brakes, WTF so does most Normal Bikes and Trikes. Do they have handbrakes too? Sounds like a loop hole fiddle to me.

the point being is it ONLY has a foot brake.. No handbrake... which makes it a car.... apparently.. In ozzie they are bikes.
