Will you guys just let it go...sounds to me like the both of you need to get out and thrash the bejeezus out of an old two stroke.Check out this vid from the 4th round VMX last month (would be your class to Pete)how quickly any pass can get pear shaped...Rossi would of saved it.

Na you would totally still be going if roles were reversed, besides it's fun winding up all the Rossi lovers

Jeepers didn't the other riders do well to miss him!! Thrown out into the middle of the track, right on front of the pack directly after a jump!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

Lol was a pretty dumb line that VMXer took over that jump to land where he did - I'm presuming he'd had a few practice laps before this race

    DICK.

Blah blah blah. My actual point is the way he worded it....like he was all superior or something. Fuck, he'd have had more credibility saying "you Sir, are a bounder and a cad". I have became an instant Stoner fan if he'd ripped off Rossi's helmet and kicked the AIDS out of him.

So Rossi walking over to apologise, was a carefully formulated plan to trick Casey into coming out with an insult. And he left his helmet on to make sure he wouldn't understand WTF Casey was saying. And he pretended "How's your shoulder?" was a genuine expression of concern rather than a subtle dig (subtle for an Aussie, anyway). Is there no end to the deviousness of that man?

Yeah of course, he is a smart man!!

And leaving his helmet on was in his own words, so he could 'feel more protected with the helmet.' He was scared of getting a smack!

And no Im not saying Stoner mentioning his should was genuine either,
that was also clearly a dig!
doesn't mean Rossi wasn't playing the media the way he does, and does mighty well!

Also referred to as - 'Red Mist'.
And yeah, the old buggers are pretty competitive still, aren't they?
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

Exactly right Denill and just goes to show that 'Red Mist' can strike any racer from front runner to back marker, professional or amateur so in that respect Rossi is only human afterall.

And just to add a little perspective to this debate there is nothing new in GP rivals taking each other out eg;In 83 Spencer ran Kenny Roberts off the track to take an unassailable points lead into the last round.Spencer was taken out by Sarron in 85 at Assen in the wet in what was a crazy move up the inside.Doohan taking out Schwantz at Donington and handing Kevin's points lead to Rainey.Criville kamikaze'd Doohan out of the aussie GP in 97(consequently Mick payed a visit to criville's pit) Pedrosa skittling team mate Hayden and also handing over Nicky's points lead to Rossi.
But it does make for great racing tho eh?

Sure does. Spices it up nicely. And I'm proud that I can honestly say that in all my years of on again off again racing...I've NEVER skittled anyone.
