Good job I'm not the sensitive type, I would think you were taking the piss

Done the clearcoat yet? I reckon it will look fucking mint. You won't want to sell it. Apart from that screen.

Not yet, I'm hanging in there for dear life! Our second is 3.5 months now and the trusty blackbird still has it's place in the garage, although I have thought about selling it, but only to allow a faster accrual of funds for a nice 'upgrade' later

    Taking the piss? Me? Never!

I'll get the clearcoat on it once the stickers arrive and I decide what set of stickers I will use.
Yeah, it will end up looking bloody sexy I think, it's already a very bright and sharp white and I have a real horn for white things at the moment.
The screen looks good from here....Mind you, I can't see it

Yeah I hear that, I have pushed our left over into the pool room, I have a buyer for it, just need to take it said buyer. The vacated spot has been taken up by another bike though...
But the play area should soon be back to normal as well.

So I have decided to do my seat covers so watch this space.

Sadly, my stapler broke and I may or may not have hit it with a hammer.... So it's rather fucked....
Anyhow, I have the ADOS glue somewhere and will get to buying some vinyl and 8 and 12mm staples.
    This should be fun

Only been here for two or three months mate, I'm originally from Wainuiomata

Right, I did the Kawasaki seat! It looks bloody good in person, the camera made the little dips look massive
Vinyl = $18 for 1 meter, will easily do both of my bikes.
    Staple gun + 800 staples = $19
    New craft knife = $2.09

Not bad at all huh? Thought I'd throw in a pic of the Quack on it's side of the garage.

good effort on that seat! Will have to do mine soon as jeans + plasticy cover = uncomfortable.

If I have much left over after the CB you're welcome to it.
You have to see it in the flesh to appreciate it dude, looks brilliant!
It's also pretty damn easy to do.

got to source some memory foam of gel or something fancy too, it's a low seat atm, so pad it out a bit, then sort the rear sets. Should be mint by summer
I took off the covering on the original bros seat, was a bit pointy round the tank so not easy to put on again, but guess it's easier when you don't need to stitch the vinyl?

Wasn't very hard to get the front of the Kawasaki seat done, once I found that my flatmate had a heat gun I was using steam from a boiled jug and the jug body before that....
