Chinese ones from eBay then. $600 to your door, passable quality, paint could be worse for sure. You'll need to file finish them to get them fitting well, but given the money you'll save, it's well worth it.

The alternative is harden up and keep the scratched up ones, scratches don't make a bike go slower.

For when i sell it so it actually makes interest. But yer whats them chinese ones like? ive seen them and theyve being catching my eye. Whats the paintwork like? What u mean by file finish? just gotta trim up the mounting holes a bit or something? i emailed a dude about them do they include the bolts and fastners for everything. COs i may very get a set and then just get my tank resprayed. Plus those fairings come with the sticker kits and all. looks neat.

South City Auto painters in Wiri Station Road. Ask for Jamie or Mike and tell em Jimmy recommended them.

Jamie has done all my race bikes and a STUNNING custom job on my old SRAD. Ask anyone who's seen the bike in the flesh, image attached, and I'm sure they'll confirm my oppinion.

Just an indication of the quality work they can do.

Cheap and quick is best left to the home handyman, a proffessional wont want to touch "cheap and quick" and have their name put to the job to be honest.

If I were you, and had a really nice running VJ21 I'd be hunting Trade Me and Ebay for some nice original bodywork and restoring it. Give it another ten years, those bikes will actually be worth a little.

Save your money. It's not some slow as piece of shite CBR250RR/GTR250/VTR250/ZXR250. It doesn't need a pretty paint job to make up for a lack of power.
