Hi Mark,
Just to clarify:
The rates are as per holidayhouses.co.nz web site, IE $90/night for 4 people, then $5/night per person thereafter.
However we generally cap this charge at 16 people (which is the approximate sleeping capability of the house).
This means you can have a few extra people in tents or in the Living room, but the cost would remain at a total of $150/night (for the off season period).
Hope this helps,
Cheers,Guy

Uhh, Duh. Yeah should have checked that before i posted . Multi-tasking at work with a sticky calculator, doesn't work. At that rate anyone tenting would obviously be free. Seem to recall a couple of people including Oldrider tenting at the Staging Post. Anyway, check out the venue and pass you verdict. On the venue i mean. (Obviously i am a dolt)

Venue sounds fine to me; cost sounds good. I'll be bringing my tent as usual, as a precaution.
If I recall correctly, we all paid the same amount at the Staging Post, but I agree that tenters should be made some allowance.
Having said that, $6 is f/all!
