I have just been on the phone with them and they are more than happy for a group of people who ride motorbikes ( I didn't use the word "bikies" ) to invade the place
They have beds for about 34 and a camp ground attached. The lady I spoke to said they don't mind if things get a little rowdy either and at this stage they have no bookings for the first or second weekend in December.

    Thoughts......

    Just a thought
They may not mind it getting a little rowdy but experience say's other campers do and especially those with little kids and you usually get asked to keep quiet after 10 or 11

Yep, go to it. Looks good to me just so long as we can book the place exclusively for us KBers. Don't want a repeat of Danseys where they let other campers in too who then complained about our exemplary sounds and behavior
Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!

Nothing wrong with the Staging Post, the River inn sounds ok too.

My preference would be one of these the second weekend over the Lodge on the third w/end.

Just a thought but if we are looking at venues that have cabins or dorms, there is no reason why we can't stay at two separate places, one on Friday then ride to another for the Saturday overnight... One advantage being that we can't get thrown out for making a racket on the Friday night...

Yep, hustle yer arse over there and check it out - as other mentioned particularly if we can have sole use of the place - we don't want other campers being pissed-off by our hilarity and fun and whinging to the management.

Other than that it looks pretty grouse!
