Yeah i've added a bit of "wieght" over the last few months also !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

I have noticed the flaming torches, burning pitch, feathers, tar and pitchforks have not been used for a long while ... I guess we need a new waving thread, bash the popo thread, honduhs are ghay thread, the gubbermint is an arse biscuit thread ... or any combination of red-necked, short on facts, shoot from the hip opinion thread!

I already asked his girlfriend to get me some eggs.

I once crashed a menstrual cycle in the driveway while doing a wheelie which was neither big, nor clever.

Bloody idiot - theres not been a man born yet that can handle a fully derestricted menstral cycle on one wheel.... You need to attend a refresher course, pick up some skills etc...

I should never have taken the training wheels off.

I'm in favour of the comma. I think that containing a phrase, if only for the sake of context, is superior to the convention, and I'm not afraid to use it.

And my convention says it's fine to begin with, for added emphasis only.

Conversely, and germane, is that it is a device used by Adams, D. Almost, in this case, ironically.

    Ponder this:

Write a sentence that makes sense using 10 two letter words only.

I am supposed to be writing a report this afternoon.
It was bad enough with the apostrophe catastrophe; the comma will likely put me in a coma.

I have heard much of this Winja, alas, never was I given the chance to partake in light banter with the man himself... before my time he was

Frankly, my own mentrual cycle pisses me off enough that I don't feel like boring the Humpaloompas out of anybody else with it.

But I do wholeheartedly agree something must be done to revive the KB playground.

Trouble is, most of the really entertaining characters are now gone (no disrespect meant to thread starter and participants so far)... But where are the Mandownunder, Jrandom, Grahameeboy, SPB, Deviant Esq, Deano, but to name a few???

    *sigh* I miss you guys

A lot of the good threads were started/continued by those in a niche of incompetence. Those incompetent enough to have entertaining exploits, but not so incompetent as to make a hash of it. With the abundance of illiterate newbies on the site, perhaps the division has grown too great?
