It would be a bummer to go to the trouble of travelling out there, just to get pipped.
When I went thru' to Pauanui to get a previous tag, kept thinking, going to be brassed off going all that way to find someone's just got there first. But thats the way it happens.
The R1 would revell in the hill leading to this tag. Just be aware of heaps of large ponga fonds on the road. On this narrow, windy road, there isnt much room for error.

If the tag is still there on Friday, I'm going to get it, then move the bloody thing as faraway from Pirongia as I can get it.
