It would be a weapon in Stock production with a good rider............. but it still has the old offset on the forks which was its downfall with handling. If aftermarket triple clamps were allowed.........it might be a different story even in Sports production.

Im sure Shaun has an opinion on this one..........shaun

Funny that, me having an opinion haha

I removed the spacer at the top of the shock between the chassis and played around wtih fork ride height ( Robert CKT Modified the forks) and I Loved the 657 I had, solid as a rock.

They sit to high off the ground giving a radical centre of gravity making them very easy to turn in, but a real pig to transfer from one full lean angle to another, causing exsessive push on the front end, tyre contact.

Apart from that, they sound as HORNY as a women on song

Was told by dealer that there are only 6 ear-marked for NZ this year.
There maybe more...... but probebly only customer ordered ones. Plenty of the standard models available............ which are nice........ but the R is sooooooooo sweeeeeeeeet
The standard ohlins fitment suspension would give it an immeadiate edge specially in stock prod class.

Best you order another 4 then eh. They do NOT NEED to be in the country at time of/for homologation, they just need to have been ordered--- Id kill to race one here

The 675R is a beautiful bit of kit there is no doubt.

Triumph put a very good stratergy in place and have done a masterful media promotion for getting rid of there stock all be it with some very nice bolt ons so very clever. However, it may not be to long before another 675 becomes available I wonder if this time the engine has been reworked

I reckon they need to enlarge the slugs 100cc each for a special edition 975 daytona se as well as having the middle weight 675 would make a tuff road bike
