Might have to take you up on that offer if it still stands. Carmels daughter is going to her dads that weekend so we should be free to come along.

Oh well if weather holds up give us a yell, no plans this weekend so may be able to catch up :-)

If I had thought about it earlier instead of editing my post at 5:37pm I would of suggested you come up and stay the night here doh.

LOL, all is good. We scattered my Moms ashes yesterday, so we had a house full and some have stayed overnight as well. Once they are gone we are free as all day And it looks beautiful out there. Bit chilly though, just about 4 degrees at ours at the moment

    Hi all,

i would love to come along next week Sat 06.08.11 (dates i often get wrong)
but I still sport the sylish L, so am restricted in speed and have not gone over the bridge yet to the other side of AKL.
So if riders want to meet up to go over the bridge I will gladly join the fun

Everybody so far has been is ok with the speed minimum...70kph is not a safe cruising speed. Where able (straight bits) riders are ''encouraged'' to keep up with the lead rider (and that is not difficult) Speed minimum is set at 80kph. We provide a safe environment for new riders to ride as a group.

    Hi Maha,

been following the messages after your rides, they really sound like good fun and well organized. I do ride daily, but always on my own, so have never been in a group ride. Usually I just commute and do little weekend rides, the What If road, or left left right
So this will be a first and I am looking forward to it and meeting other riders esp. you and Mom....!

And with this lovely weather today, I shall go for a coffee now, somewhere nice

He means 80 kph MAXIMUM, not minimum. Yeah, our rides are failrly laid back, be good to see you come along. There are a few that have come over the bridge for the first ime to get to our rides, usually there is someone that will come and meet up with you for company. Just keep watching this thread. If there are no takers I can always come across and get you
