9 or 10 I was thinking, but might just go up north rather than do the loop together as am meeting some people who came from overseas and are touring the country around the dargaville area. But if I don't meet em then I'll be keen to go for the loop. Either way i'll be riding up north around 9 or 10, not sure how long it would take to get to Dargaville, am supposed to meet em around 12-1

Not enough corners for me- have fun. I'm going to hit Woodhill if anyone is keen to ride dirt.

sweet, haven't ridden together for a while lol. So maybe up and down 16? to wellsford and back...has good twisties and straights. Unless you have another idea.

It'd be nice to get some new people comin out on rides as well...I see so many bikes around uni, some of them have to be in this club and shd be keen for a ride

16 is for the most part far too straight for any entertainment really, it's just a highway to go A to B rather than what you'd call twisties, and it's full of cars for that reason. If you're going up that way then you can't not go through old north road and woodcocks road; the ATNR and Regular Sunday Rides groups hit these roads for a good reason - the 2 best roads in Northern Auckland- unbelievable stuff. Throw in Ridge road and you have one heck of a ride.

This is the best of North Aucks... no cars, but heaps and heaps of bikes always on these roads!!! Also takes the better part of Highway 16 http://maps.google.co.nz/maps?saddr=...=14&via=1&z=13 old and new bike debris to be found on nearly every corner...good times

Ah, never been on those roads before. Yea, I went up 16 last weekend and was thinking how boringly straight it was but like I said I didn't know of any other (better) roads. However there are not many cars at all on 16 between Kaukapakapa and Wellsford and I haven't seen any cops. But yea I'd def be keen to go have a look at those other roads, are you keen to come with racefactory?

I'm really keen but I can't make it. Anyway you guys should check out Ridge Road, Woodcocks/westcoast road and Old North Road if you are going up that way. Have a good one.

So for those of you who are keen to go, where should we meet? That shell station at Northcross shops? and then head up the way racefactory mapped out?

Hampton Downs last Friday has sapped my bike budget, so that's me out.
