Hey mate, well no one has come back with a plan so I think we will head out the normal way, ash to colyton V.Hill, might go h.hill home yet not sure other wise back the same way?
Replace RR about two weeks ago, did not recharge battery but it went flat again on Friday!!! WTF. So I have charged it again and going to see how long it takes for it to happen again. Any ideas??

yeh, a few times i've done it before we went up the highway, and sometimes a back road for the first bit too? Some fancy-pants should hook us up with a google maps plan I reckon.

Hmmm gutted, everything else seem to be more within spec, so if a new RR didn't fix it, I dunno. Is it still doing a really slow rise on the volts when you give it some rpm? Could try hooking up my spare battery (won't fit in, but should be able to wire it in) and see if it has the same problem.

Have you checked the voltage back to the battery?

    Have you checked the stator?

Have you checked for any burnt wiring or plug connections?

Do you have one of those Shorai batteries?

Pretty sure we checked all those things, only failed on the last one It also has a big mistake on the tank, says suzuki, but I'm pretty sure they are supposed to say honda!

Not sure I know why I added the last one? Maybe cause I'm about to kick mine toward the wheelie bin.

Has it not wheelie bin working right for ya? Mine's still working better than the lead acid.

I'm on my third (not wheelie bin). Two 14's and the latest is an 18, but what a headache. Poor cranking eventually causes sprag failure which was around $1000 to repair. Triumph's new parts policy will be an upgrade to the new 2011 model, which will include starter motor, gears, sprag, covers etc and a price tag of probably $3-$4k

    Triumph can go get fucked!

Sounds like you have the same problem with the tank text as supersonic!

Fuckin'ell though, there is a lot of parts markup on that shit. I know the shorai aren't as strong starting from cold, but a bike shouldn't blow a sprag clutch just from weak turnover.
